Maria Stephens (she/her) has been in countless productions over the past 25 years with many Chicagoland theatres including: Redtwist Theatre, The Gift Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Trap Door Theatre,

City Lit Theater Company, A Red Orchid Theatre, Hell in a Handbag Productions, The Factory Theater, Apple Tree Theatre, The Mammals—and The Artistic Home, where she was a long-time company member appearing in over a dozen productions; favorite credits there include: Macbeth, The Skin of Our Teeth, Modigliani, Petrified Forest, Natural Affection, Peer Gynt and The Tinker's Wedding.

Maria is a founding member of Facility where she played Phoebe in Phoebe in Winter (top ten Reader recommended shows for 2018) and co-produced and played Alice in Right Now, for which she was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Supporting Actor and won for Best Ensemble. Maria’s latest film project is Fish is Dog Spelled Backwards with Soft Cage films. She is repped by Big Mouth Talent.
